Dollens Electric – Cash Discount Policy
Dollens Electric values our customers and strives to provide fair and transparent pricing. To help our clients save on costs, we offer a cash discount for cash, check, or other non-credit card payments.
How It Works:
- All prices listed on estimates and invoices reflect the standard rate (applicable to all payment types).
- Customers who choose to pay with cash, check, or bank transfer are eligible for a 3% discount on their total invoice amount.
- Payments made via credit or debit card will be processed at the standard rate, which includes card processing fees.

Scenario 1 – Standard Pricing (Credit/Debit Card Payment)
- Electrical Service Total: $1,000.00
- Credit Card Processing Fee (Included in Price): $30.00
- Total Due (Card Payment): $1,000.00
Scenario 2 – Cash Discount Applied
- Electrical Service Total (Before Discount): $1,000.00
- Cash Discount (3%): -$30.00
- Total Due (Cash/Check Payment): $970.00
Terms & Conditions:
- The cash discount is only available for payments made via cash, check, or bank transfer before or upon service completion.
- The Discount does not apply to credit or debit card payments.
- The discounted price must be paid in full at the time of service.
- All discounts will be itemized on invoices for full transparency.
- This policy is in compliance with California law, which allows cash discounts but prohibits excessive credit card surcharges (Civil Code § 1748.1).
How to Claim Your Discount
To take advantage of the cash discount, inform us when a booking or Payment is made. We’ll adjust your invoice accordingly and ensure you get the best possible pricing!
